The Way Out is In

Join a late summer 5-day immersion into experiential practices of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) in the face of transition, embedded in the wider sphere of inner growth (Inner Development Goal Framework) to support pathways of building holistic resilience, and somatically anchored in contemplative nature connection practices (Awake in the Wild).

he way out of any difficulty is to look deeply within, gain insights and then put these into practice at the intersection of personal transformation and systems' change - and we can do it together!

CULTIVATING SEEDS OF RESILIENCE

  • Learn and practice Mindful Self-Compassion Core Skills to become your own best friend in challenging times.

  • Find your fresh inspiration for inner growth and new ways of Being, Thinking, Relating, Collaborating and Acting - the 5 dimensions of the Inner Development Goal Framework - through practices, creativity, body movement, and journaling for the global context we are all an active part of.

  • Reconnect to yourself as nature in nature, growing your inner resources of resilience and creativity by exploring mindfulness in nature, finding awe in the sacredness of nature outside and inside with 'Awake in the Wild' nature meditation practices.

  • Remember our common humanity and the power of sangha in a supportive group setting of inspired people with a desire to connect and grow - you are not alone!

  • Feel ignited by hands-on examples of regeneration in a real-world laboratory as guests on campus of our host Monviso Institute.

  • Replenish in a wild and beautiful alpine setting, partly in silence, and often in movement, in a healthy blend of relax and activity.

  • Experience Alpine village life and savour local slow food in Piemonte in the Northern Italian alps as guests of Valle del Po, witnessing how the communities of Occitan culture respond to a changing world. 

YOUR TEACHERS

Mirjam and Lotta are Mindful Self-Compassion teachers, and have both lived and worked extensively in the world. They are inspired by other cultures’ notions that help people reconnect with the of the preciousness of life, starting within themselves, extending to others and the world. One such notion is the Bantu word ‘Ubuntu’, spoken in South Africa.

It is translated into “I am because we/you are” - a person is a person through other persons. And this includes the trainable skills of awareness, (self-)compassion and personal resilience.
